It wasn't until 1927 when disease threatened to destroy their trees, that Moroco sent 11 offshoots to the United States to prevent this delicious fruit from becoming extinct. Considered the ultimate delicacy, these are the largest dates grown in North America. They are hand selected for their superior quality and size. Our JUMBO Medjools are twice as large as all the other dates, yet they have a relatively small pit. These sumptuous dates make an exquisite gift, perfect for any occasion.
